Dead City was a welcomed surprise! It's a return to TWD seasons 1-6. It's raw and intense! Glad they're extending it to another season...hopefully more episodes in the next season.

Season 2 will either start straight from how season 1 ended or time skip a few months where Negan is now the leader of the island and has already made impacts on both Maggie's and Marshal's home. Maggie will then understand she has made a terrible mistake and maybe finds a secret message from Negan that he knew she would only recognise. After reading the message, Maggie packs some supplies and prepares to go and rescue Negan from the island. Before she leaves, she talks to Ginny and asks her to help bring Negan back, Maggie convinces Ginny and they both leave but Maggie decides to also ask Marshal for help and he agrees, where he promises to clear Negan's name. Maybe somewhere midway, they find Negan and got him out of the island but unfortunately The Marshals of New Babylon were waiting for them. After they go to New Babylon, Marshal tried to defend Negan and defend what he did but it didn't work but while they are in New Babylon, Negan had heart to heart talks with both Maggie and Ginny. Ginny forgave him for killing her dad and still wants to stay with him which he gladly accepts and Maggie has finally truly forgiven him and re-introduce each other as friends. Marshal free's them and helps them escape but what Marshal didn't know is that the lady and The Croat have already made a secret deal with The Marshals of New Babylon and have formed an alliance a deal that Negan must forever stay on the island. Under this new alliance, they attack the community and while they fail to capture Negan, they managed to capture Maggie and Ginny instead. Season 2 ends with Negan preparing to bring Old Negan back to rescue Ginny and Maggie. We'll get confirmation for Season 3 and it will be the final season for Dead City
