I would recommend wearing the bulkiest items (sweater, jeans) on your traveling day. Optional, but you can clip on a carabiner to the backpack top handle and clip your hat there.

I love the Kanken. Wish it got more love for traveling because it’s a great traveling bag. Osprey and Patagonia have great ones too.

I love my kanken 🎉 I just did a solo trip ultra minimalist. It really wasn't a good plan for me. I leave at the end of April for a 5 day trip, I'm going carry on and personal item only. Last trip was personal item only. 🎉 my husband makes fun of me for keeping my purses in dust covers. They are pricey! I want to take care of them. (I only have 4) I have the Kate Spade belt bag, and I highly recommend it.🎉 Have the best trip!
