Morning Bath!

Yes, he does look a little bit different these days. He has been going through a molt and so he takes lots of baths and is losing lots of feathers that will soon be replaced with a beautiful new set.

Reminds me of the baby canaries who repeated this 30 times until they were so waterlogged, they sat on the bottom perches WINGS FALLEN STRAIGHT down to the floor of the cage!!!

We rescued a baby starling in June and after he refused to leave us I convinced my wife to keep him. He wouldn’t get 5ft away from me normally but after 6weeks he flew off unexpectedly and has been gone for a week. He’d flown off overnight a few times (while we were trying to release him) but was always back in morning. I miss the little guy 😢
