Great Video, well thought out and godo info. I totally agree with you with using ads, you need at least 90 days to 6 months of data to get a good feel of what videos will actually do well with ads in order to bring in more organic views. Even more importantly, the content needs to be of value so that the viewer is inclined to click on more of your videos, like or subscribe. GREAT JOB!

First great video. But so far I have spent $291 on Google Ads on my YouTube channel. And these are my results 1.97M impressions and 46.6K views and my average CPV was $0, 081, and I started running these campaigns about half a year ago and stopped about two months ago. I had between 300 and 800 subscribers when I ran the campaign and between 60 to 90 videos on the channel. I only use basic information like general age and a few keywords. And I'm not completely sure how many subscribers I got, but I think it's between 100 to 300 from the campaigns. The point I'm trying to prove is that I totally agree that you need to have data about your audience and good content. But I also think you kind of scammed yourself because you advertised it like a website and did not advertise individual videos using Video Ads. I think if you would have done that, you would have gotten much more subscribers and views. And yes, I know that was kind of the point of the video, but I still wanted to say this.

Really, friend, I know your struggle your content is really good but it's so hard to grow organically on youtube I can feel your pain I think I should not run ads because it will decrease my ctr for the channel.

I ran 2 ads for roughly a month. I did increase subscribers but unfortunately not watch time hrs. Ads do not count towards watch time which is unfortunate as my ads did get a decent amount of views! Conclusion- good for subs But that’s really about it.
