A friend of my escaped Eritrea. He hid on the undercarriage of a railcar. One of the people he escaped with was spotted at the border and shot right in front of him. My friend was just a kid at the time so was abled to go unnoticed because of his small body

As for the US, the only way it would play out like that is if you are wanted for a crime. Any regular person can go, even renounce their citizenship.

Escaping Canada too would be difficult if one commits a horrible crime, because the Canadian authorities works closely with other law enforcement around the world, so if one successfully flees the country, it wouldn’t be long before the one who committed the crime be apprehended by foreign law enforcement, and extradited back to Canada where one will receive a sentence for the crime.

I have a friend from Belarus he describes it as a controlling and a manipulative country that's why he moved 1000's of miles away from it but he usually visits it once every few years, but now regarding the current situation in Ukraine it looks like he's gonna have to cancel his plane ticket's!

I lived in Saudi Arabia for three years and the new crown Prince is improving the rights of women. Recently they have been allowed to drive, book plane tickets, sexually segregated rooms and areas have been removed and more. Although it still has some bad laws such as Freedom of Press and Speech being banned to a certain extent, it is improving.

Man imagine being a North Korean, you are basically doomed to live your whole life in there.

As for China, it's actually not that strict...I'm in China right now, and it's fairly easy to get out. You don't need to ESCAPE, just say you are gonna leave for a legit reason and it's ez! The cities are also pretty nice to live in and it's not that oppressive...

You forgot England and France. They spent centuries invading the globe to escape their homelands, and they're still stuck there. The English must endure the terrible weather, and the french cant escape the french.

At 8:47
Eritrea:

If you want to leave the country of Eritrea legally, you also have to pay an "exit tax". This is a tax on those people that are trying to voluntarily give up their Eritrean citizenship. I don't know how it works and Eritrea, but there is one other country that does this, that has an exit tax.

The country is United States of America. There if you are trying to legally give up your citizenship and get citizenship in another country, they assume you are trying to evade taxes and will tax you 75% on all property that you own. You have $100, 000 house, congratulations you owe $75, 000 in taxes payable immediately....
It was an interesting read when I stumbled across the info and read about it on Wikipedia....

BTW, the electric fence would not even shock the bird due to the lack of ground signal. Technically if you jumped onto the fence without touching the ground you would be fine because the electricity wouldn't try to travel through you, hence no shock

Eritrea does sound worse than north korea. Many people who've visited North korea said most people they see are going about their daily lives. You don't need permits to literally leave yhe house.

The belarus situation is so bad that my aunt, who has a company there, needs to smuggle money past the border to pay the workers in there, because you just can't carry anything past the borders. it's very shady, and they stop literally everyone trying to enter and exit the country.

15:02 "Air Kiribati". Because of the particular use of the alphabet in the native language, "Kiribati" is actually pronounced <kiribas>.
