Yes, I sympathize with both. I know Queen Catherine was a teenager and was taken advantage of; in addition she didn’t have the mindset to understand the repercussions of what she was doing. No one disciplined her and she was like any teen today who grew up without any good adult guidance so she was impulsive and made stupid decisions (as did I at her age as well). She also didn’t realize what a snake pit the Tudor court was.

Anne Boleyn ; I will always honor her as my favorite Queen and she holds a special place in my heart. I feel she went through more mental torture ; she was probably happy to have it all end at that point. Imagine the anxiety and turmoil and all caused by the person who moved heaven and earth for you just 3 years earlier!!?? I can relate to her feelings and her anxiety. She wasn’t the type of person to hold her tongue (like more cunning Jane Seymour); or more pragmatic like Anne of Cleves/Catherine Parr.
She couldn’t believe that a person; a King; who basically changed the whole religion of England - a huge deal; (and in addition causing 3 decades of horror and prosecution due to religious reasons)- could just switch his feelings off “ and simply stop caring for her”. She had two miscarriages(probably due to extreme anxiety of dealing with all of it; enemies everywhere, her whole fate resting on the birth of a male heir?!?! I have yet to read about any other king so cruel as to do such a thing to his wife and Queen. Both Queens went to their deaths with dignity, bravery, and strength of true queens. It’s too bad Henry VIII couldn’t feel that happen to him (instead of King Charles I)- which again was always drawn back to the way Henry VIII ruled and Parliament was made stronger due to him. There weren’t many nobles left- he had most of them killed off if they had a drop of Plantagenet blood in them.

The fact that they suffered the same fate and were cousins and insisted to marry, that monster is just weird because Henry was a monster he should’ve never been king in the first place

None of Henry VII wives deserved what happened, except Catherine parr and Anne of cleaves. But the two cousins had it hardest, they were beautiful and so strong but Henry did them dirty and ruined them, poor Catherine Howard died so young and Anne Boylen died such a hard way especially with her child Elizabeth the first, two cousins same fate 😢

But tbh Kathrine had it coming on her own. She knew exactly what happend to Anne and yet she choose to cheat on Henry.

They both were problematic. Especially Ann. She was an adulterer and manipulator and did dirty to catherine. Stop portraying her unnocent.
