How to make a simple guide to keep the blade vertical in the homemade jigsaw table. With just two small bearings and some pieces of scrap, this is a very easy to make yet very useful guide that will help us to make perfect cuts in a small woodworking shop with our jigsaw table. A great improvement for one of my best homemade tools.

Another great and cheap DIY Solution. As a safety feature i would attach an emergency stop button which disrupts the power to the jigsaw.

Thanx for video. I have just this day finished my jigsaw table. I used bearings similar to you but put them on a bridge across the width of the table so I can cut longer lengths of wood. Also I have added an adjustable guide fence. I have yet to try this out, as I have just finished and it has gone midnight!
