Lyrics
Watch the feeling rot from the inside
I know it’s hard
When I can’t stop breathing
And see you every time

Watch you move out of time
Sign your name on the dotted line
If you wanna run and hide
Then tell me what you want from me

But I hope
That you’ll bring some clarity
When I take myself to seriously
I’m left wide open

To leave so full of promises you left me nothing

I heard your name
And it’s nothing but a dream again
Forget your face and it carried all of me
I heard your name
And it’s nothing but a dream again
Forget your face and it carried all of me

But I hope
That you’ll bring some clarity
When I take myself to seriously
I’m left wide open

Did you go and make a lie to see me broken
To leave so full of promises you left me nothing

I heard your name
And it’s nothing but a dream again
Forget your face and it carried all of me
I heard your name
And it’s nothing but a dream again
Forget your face and you carried all of me
I’ll wait for too long
I don’t need to be alone
To be alone

So this time
I’ll just standby
And watch as the months go by
When you find out
I’m not really gone

This reminds me of Such Gold a little bit too. Great song and so stoked for this LP to arrive!

Oh man, i miss so much the non breakdowns-hardcore era. This takes me back to More Than Life - Love Let Me Go, STYG - The Hope Division, Story Of The Year - The Constant, Killing The Dream - Lucky Me and CBK - Symptoms + Cures. What i'd give to be 15 years old again.

Also, was this produced by John Feldman? No wonder why it reminds me of SOTY and Disobedient-era STYG, no wonder those catchly clean choruses and "woahs", cant complain.

Also, i almost didn't notice the Spencer Chamberlain cameo haha

This sounds so much like comeback kid, it’s alright but I’m just hoping that the album isn’t gonna sound like their ripping off CBK

Great work! Reminds me of an early-2000s Australian band called Irrelevant, particularly the screamy vocals.
