How to fix Blurry/Fuzzy Recordings in OBS Studios

Today I'm going to be showing you guys how to fix Blurry and/or fuzzy recordings in OBS Studios. This is often caused be wrong settings in your OBS settings, that can cause the bitrate to be to low or the resolutions not being matched or set up right.

since my obs recorder kind of reset, i had to change all of my recording settings and for some reason it was blurry. thanks to you, its not anymore so it actually worked

Yea but whenever I raise the bitrate, then it juts makes the recording super laggy, like 1 frame per 15 seconds 😭💀

12, 000 bit rate should be the minimum anyone would be using. 24, 000 should be the max. 14, 000 - 16, 000 is the typical sweet spot because you want to be near the Gigabit Transfer Rate of your GPU. Anything higher than 24, 000 there is negligible difference, added load to your CPU and/or GPU and youre just self bloating your recordings.


Thank you for this video though, swapped from being lazy using Shadowplay to OBS and trying to figure out the settings.
