Sooo happy Doja Cat's EMA performance somehow introduced me to Plini's beautiful sound.

To be honest more people are going to look into Plini after the Doja Cat performance, that's prog metal being put right in the spotlight which doesn't happen often if at all.

3:28. My goodness. So many musical things happening at that moment. The driving half time in 4, the tone, a tasteful bass drop, the rhythm guitar magic, but frick this dude places his themes in THE BEST places. The man is a melodic and motif genius.

3:09 has kept me coming back for years. I get the vibe of a "successful crash landing"

This is like happy music for angry people. I love it so much.
Everything is just right, as if there's no possible way to improve it.

For anyone looking for the similarities with Doja Cat's live rock performance of "Say So", go to 2:50 in Doja Cat's video and listen to the underlying guitar riff (not the lead guitar in the solo). Then go to 3:27 in this video and do the same thing.

That main lead part is probably the most beautiful thing I've ever heard.

This is the 2nd song I've heard by Plini as I only just discovered him a few minutes ago. I gotta say this is effin' sublime. I've been missing out.

The amount of groove in this song makes me so happy. Troy Wright is a great addition to your music Plini. Absolutely beautiful

On Plini. Thank you for making ur lives so much richer and deeper and showing us things we may have missed without you journiing to the underworld and bringing them back for us...the beauty, the depth, the spaces, the textures, soft place my tired brain can find safty in....Rumi and I wonder who you are Plini - As you circle the stone tower....are you a falcon, the wind or a song?

That bass...so subtle, but my ears perked up especially for that.

Was sending a work email at 3:08 and took me 10 seconds to realise I was enthusiastically bobbing my head to something I wasn't even consciously listening to.

As a drummer, 4:05 has to be my favorite part where Troy goes rogue while everyone else stays the same only to come back to the providing the backbeat at 4:33. Too bad they don't play this live :(

I can't express how much I love and appreciate Plini and his brilliant team. They brought a wave with them, a wave that took us to an island previously undiscovered.
