Stop arguing, the music director admitted the band stole from Plini. So, there is absolutely no ambiguity. Subtle or not, I would have expected some kind of credit from a mainstream studio artist. No one cares if Plini got more fans from this, he is already famous. At least Doja seemed to be apologetic about it and Plini doesn't care. Imo, she should've requested a title change to her million-view-video and rename it to "feat. Plini". Her producer and guitarist should be widely known for their ghostwriting/plagiaristic attitudes.

As long as he got it sorted out legally, I'm glad his music is being recognized and people realize it's his song. It's kinda cool these big artists pushing decent music.

Prog Metal + Doja Cat kinda gives me Spiritbox vibes (and hey, I’m not comparing the lead vocalist to her. If anything, she’s 10x more talented than Doja Cat. It’s just the vibe somehow gives me Spiritbox vibes, as blasphemous as I’m sounding right now)

Come on... that's kinda pathetic. I mean maybe you can argue the beginning of his solo to an extent but he blatantly ripped off a VERY unique Plini riff at the end. Also surprised Lari Basilio (guitarist on the right who interacts with Plini and Invervals on social media often - pretty sure they're friends, or were friends) was fine with the ending riff too... At least her main solo was original.
