Plain are better. Having a wife raised in China, I'm not surprised at the results. Person bring the snacks should eat first to show how. Asians are not use to eating with fingers. At a Macdonald, I ate the burger as one piece while everyone else used chopsticks eating each ingredient separate. It was a big Mac.

I love homemade snacks cause you get to have control in what you put into your snacks. I would definitely try that tofu/rice with extra sauce.
