Might worth mentioning that you should wind until you feel tension doing so. When winding becomes very easy, that's when you know the film is almost inside, turn a bit more, and you're done. I've just learnt it the hard way...

I have the same camera, and I've stopped turning a bit too soon, and opened the back, but carefully in an almost dark room (except for a red light app on my phone to check if there's still film left outside the canister). So, I hope there won't be too much light damage, but might've ruined a few shots, we'll see. But hey, there's a 1st time for everything...

Ah.. it happened today. I didn't know to press the little button. At times the turn was hard, at times I felt I was moving film, at times it stuck. I don't know how, after so many beautiful photos, I opened the box AND SAW FILM INSIDE!! Shit. It was 5pm. Overcast. In the bus. Hell knows if all is gone. This is my first film. I quickly shut the box. Fuck you little button!

Well they say they can restore film up to -6 stops. God please save my images!

Pretty sure you could read most of these instructions in a dirty way.
