How to load & unload a 35mm SLR film camera - 35mm Tips

Film photography is a load of fun, but in order to get started you need to learn how to properly load your camera. In this video we do a basic walkthrough of loading and unloading 35mm film into most SLR-type cameras.

Alternatively, there is the "Slide Method"
Firstly make sure you take a shot to allow the advence lever to be used, but dont advance and Instead of of inserting the film canister in first, grab the film leader and stick it into the crank slot and make sure its secured, then with your thumb, press the perferations of the film into the sprokets to nest the teeth into the film and slide the canister into the canister nessle and push the rewind down and make sure theres a little tension within the spool.
Then close the door and pay attention to your rewind lever as you advance the film, if the rewind lever spins you have possibly gained yourself half and 1 extra shot, or if you are really lucky, 2 extra shots :D
