The one thing I don't quite get is why the definition of the limit is mostly written with the a-term to the left and L to the right of the subtraction. It doesn't matter inside the absolute value function for the result, but conceptually, when we want to know the distance *of* something variable or requested to a given thing, we "subtract the smaller thing from the larger thing". The value of the series at the index is the "smaller" thing - so conceptually, didactically - wouldn't it make more sense to write | L - a_n| < epsilon?
