A friend of mine was close with him, I had the privilege of meeting him several times. Beautiful man, so polite sweet & kind. Him & his brothers Shaun & Patrick were there too. Highlight of a chapter in my life.. very sad when he passed. I think of him almost on a daily still. RIP David.

OMG ..David Cassidy was my heart throb . My Mom kept calling me to the dinner table, but The Partridge Family is on I responded . I was so upset I couldn’t watch TV that evening.
Every Friday I pleaded to have dinner earlier and if I ate well, I could watch TV . I couldn’t wait, so excited . I cut pictures out of mags & taped every photo I could find of David, Susan and Shirley all over ONE wall, mom even bought me The Partridge Family album at an old yellow front store Every single morning, getting ready for school I got to heard him sing .
One day I asked my Dad for $5 to join their fan club . Man, I loved my Dad forever for doing that for me .
I received a record made of some sort of card board . All the members of the Partridge Family spoke to welcome me as their fan I was in the clouds
Thank you Sir Cassidy for giving me such wonderful memories.

He had a headliner show in Los Vegas for around a year. It was sad to watch him deteriorate over the years.

He was my teenage crush, such a divinely handsome young man. It is such a shame that his later life was so difficult. We should never condemn addiction but learn from what it can do. I will forever remember the charming young singer. Sleep in peace, the Lord will take care of you now ✨

When all my friends swooned over Donny Osmond, David was my crush. I liked older men lol. He was surrounded by people, yet was lonely. It was sad to see him spiral down. RIP David, from a childhood fan. 💙

He loved Horses, I think he might have had one. I had a job at Gulfstream racetrack in the Rooftop Grill lounge as a Hostess and would seat him when he came for Dinner. Always genuinely friendly. Then I got a federal position at the airport with TSA and when he would Travel, to my surprise he actually remembered me, and would take time to ask me how I was doing. Rest in peace David. 🙏💜🙏

Shirley Jones was an angel. She treated the cast as if they were her children. Danny would come to the set even though he was young he smelled of body odor and always had dirty clothes on. When they would finish shooting for the week, sometimes Shirley took him home, made sure he took a shower washed his clothes and got them ready for the next week.

In the 70s, my mom bought an old record player and covered it with funky wallpaper and a big picture of David Cassidy and gave it to my big sister for Christmas. We listened to that 45' so much that 48 years later, i can still sing I think I love you off by heart.

David could play the piano, drums, n guitar. He wrote and co-wrote many songs, played Broadway, and produced his Vegas show. I saw him in concert as a young girl and later as an adult in which he danced; he danced w amazing rhythm.
RIP, David, you were a gift from God. ❤
Unfortunately, Hollywood uses and then spits people out.
