I'm a 14 year old kid from Nebraska, and I have to say, Voddie's fervor and passion for preching the gospel has impacted my spiritual walk more than ANY OTHER pastor/leader/etc... His words penetrate my soul and cause me to have a greater understanding of both the character and the Word of God. God gave me Voddie Baucham, and used him to strengthen me in His word.

The sovereignty of God is the source of my hope in this fallen world. I can rest because I trust God's wisdom in letting everything happen the way that it does. Hallelujah

I love that he says "we", because Christian or non-Christian, it's a struggle for all of us to let go of the desire to rule.

Amen, I completely agree. I am a sinner through and through and I pray for purity.

Love this guy!!!! Love how unapologetically he dispenses the word.

Disagreeing with reformed theology’s definition of Gods sovereignty does not equal “being offended” by it. It’s ironic that those heralding the virtues of Gods sovereignty, demand that God operate within their misguided interpretation of it.

How good it feels to hear this Truth so reassuring for my heart and my soul. Fortunately, I can't change anything about this marvelous sovereignty of our God. What comfort, what strength it releases, so that we can continue to advance until the end... Be blessed and thanked, from the South-West of France!

What an incredible man of God! I love to hear his wisdom and counsel. Pay heed to this man. Listen to him as it is evident he’s his guided by the Holy Spirit.

The question fails to bring out the real contention in regards to God’s sovereignty. The answer to this question in this video is accurate. However knowing G3, we know that the real question should be, why are people offended by divine meticulous determinism being the definition for sovereignty? That’s where the divide really is.

I fully accept and revere Gods sovereignty, but I completely reject the Reformed/Calvinist misguided definition of it.

So true, I use to be so upset with Gods sovereignty, I don’t understand it all but willing to learn about it. More or God is what I strive for. Love this man of God, appreciate his teaching.blessings to you

Who doesn't like this? I've never heard any Christian complain about God's sovereignty.

I am not in control! I will always bow before the Lord, I'm not even worthy to stand in his presence. May his will be done.

Love this view of the sovereignty of God from A.W. Tozer:

“God sovereignly decreed that man should be free to exercise moral choice, and man from the beginning has fulfilled that decree by making his choice between good and evil. When he chooses to do evil, he does not thereby countervail the sovereign will of God but fulfills it, inasmuch as the eternal decree decided not which choice the man should make but that he should be free to make it. If in His absolute freedom God has willed to give man limited freedom, who is there to stay His hand or say, ‘What doest thou?’ Man’s will is free because God is sovereign. A God less than sovereign could not bestow moral freedom upon His creatures. He would be afraid to do so.” – A.W. Tozer, The Knowledge of the Holy: The Attributes of God

The pride of life . Satan tempted Jesus, “ All these things I will give you “ . The same deal in the garden, “ and a tree desirable to make one wise “ .

We want to be in charge. But we aren't.

Don't listen to Jordan Peterson but listen to this. Also props to Voddie for losing so much weight and staying healthy (it seems).

That is very true my brother in Christ 6 years ago when I came to Christ and when the Lord saved me between that time I got sick with late stage Lyme disease and the CDC in Madison Wisconsin denied me twice they didn't want to see me I had all the symptoms blood test white blood cells and platelets were very low so I put matters into my own hands and called my insurance so they found a doctor Milwaukee and the doctor decided to do IV antibiotics for 3 weeks but the doctor decided to stop treatment because the medication of the antibiotics was decreasing my white blood cells even more I didn't get sicker and I didn't get better because there's no one size fits all. This is my testimony that I'm going to believe and I know that the Lord guide me down at path to wake me up from me getting sick with late stage Lyme disease and even though I'm still suffering today with severe weight loss chronic gut issues depression anxiety Bright lights bother me my knees ache that I might have arthritis Lyme disease and I'm only 35 years old I'm 5'9 weigh 135 lb I'm not underweight yet but if I get 125 lb than I am. I need to trust the Lord no matter what no matter if it's not his will to get me better or if it is in the future but through the six years have been suffering I told the Lord that I'll walk down that path many times again to have a right relationship with him because I will do it over and over again because the Lord open my spiritual eyes to spiritual ears and his word and watching other true preachers like this preacher a brother in Christ and pastor Billy Graham pastor Jeremiah and pastor Charles Stanley. I have a couple Christian YouTubers Street preachers that I like one of them is livingWaters through a comfort the other Christian YouTuber channel is DML Christian lifestyle. The other one is off the kurb ministry. And even though every day I wake up knowing that I'm still suffering but I'm grateful everyday that Lord is giving me that I wake up to open my eyes to see that I'm still alive. And I know I'm not going to know all things like the Lord does because I'm only limited by my human abilities. And I know there's not enough funding and research on Lyme disease especially late stage and now we can do so much with the income that I have on disability but I'm grateful that I have free insurance but my insurance only covers so much. I try to be grateful for the little things in my life like to be grateful that I have good food and nurse my body clean water to walk a couple feet to get because countries around the world that are poor have to get water out of lakes that have parasites and other things in the dirty water. Especially to be grateful that I have clothes to put over my body I have multiple pairs of shoes even though they're used just to be grateful for. So I try my best I want to wake up everyday to be the best person that I can be in the Lord's image.
