some misconceptions I think: temperature is proportional to THERMAL energy, not INTERNAL energy (which includes the potential energy stores of the particles too)

THIS GUY HAS PUT ME IN SO MUCH CONFUSSION!!! In 1:16 He says that temperature is a "measure of the average internal energy of a substance" and this is WRONG. Temperature is apparently the measure of only the average kinetic energy!!!
