What role has the Left had in shaping these conditions, whether positively or negatively? Is there a Left-wing alternative to the present escalation of bloodshed? If yes, what? If not, why not? What are the goals of the Left in the broader Middle East? How do these relate to the tasks facing the Left here? Which way forward for Palestinian liberation?"
