If on SSDI your choice for supplements but all in maybe two states is not even an option. Remember the average monthly benefit on SSDI is around $1100. Per month. In the few states that allow under 65 supps a Plan A Or Plan G is $300-$800. Per month. Add in parts. B & D and total monthly premiums are more than the benefit they receive. And that’s why MAPD plans exist. It fills that gap rhat otherwise thousands of SSDI recipients would be SOL.
