When placing on layout, the image is cropped based on the zoom it had and cannot be expanded to fit all that I intend. Any work arounds?

I don't know why with Archicad you often have to find a workaround to do things that should be simple, like saving/exporting a 3D view at the desired resolution.

Just use a camera view. You can upscale the view resolution of the camera view settings. This way you have way less steps and is more optimized work flow

Would to see a video on mod files and linked pln files for townhouses and duplex or bigger projects in general. How does your practice manage those sort of projects in archicad?

I use archicad 24 and apply the same technicue, yet archicad keeps changing the height of the window. Let's say I apply 3840x2160, click OK. At this point archicad opens new tab with 3D view, and it's dims are 3840x1009. I can set any other width, but never go higher than 1009 in height. Do you know what might be causing that and how to solve this? Usually I go to folder of sheets, right click on 3D view -> go to modify source view parameters and change the dimension in there, but often this displaces my 3D model and cuts it from the top, and no matter what other settings I chage, I can't get proper view. That would be great if you could help me with this

In AC27 this doesn't quite work for me and may be due to my screen set up. Ive got a new Mac mini M4 Pro so should have lots of power. I connect my 4K TV via HDMI. When I try and resize the window it seems to work initially but even if I click the chain to keep my width and height proportional to each other it always seems to leave the width and it jumps back to a much smaller height. In my Mac settings I set the TV display resolution to 1920 x 1080 as I sit on my couch about 3m away so that resolution suits. If I up the display resolution same sort of thing happens.
So instead of saving a view in a higher resolution I just render with an Outdoor Daylight Fast Physical but in the render settings I can pick 8000 width which gives me 4472 height in pixels. Then the rendered image has really good sharp definition.
However Id still like to be able to just effectively Set the Screen Size to that and Save As a Tiff but the proportions get mucked up as mentioned earlier. So not sure what's going on??

Please, is that the same solution or similar to Mac users ? Great video, thanks a lot !
