In this video lesson, we will continue to use the Five Step process to solving a linear equation. Equations in this lesson will have variables on both sides. Equations will require using the distributive property, combining like terms, collecting variable terms, collecting constant terms, and using inverse operations to solve for the variable. We will also review the three types of solutions to a linear equation: one solution, no solution, and infinitely many solutions. Student practice is embedded in the lesson and exemplar solutions are modeled.
