I really can't believe that they threw away the class system.

My biggest gripe is how Specialists kind of ruin the distinction between friend and foe. Often you will mistakenly identify the enemy as your team mate because they all look identical

Hell yeah, stoked they got rid of classes and squads and everything that distinguished battlefield from the competitors, finally i can play call of duty without saying I'm playing call of duty

I miss classes, the whole point was your squad was aware what each other could do and made sure all classes were covered for maximum effective engagement. Also the ammo options are a step too far, basic optic and grip changes would be ace but having to build a new gun each gunfight is insane

Yea the new specialist system is the worst for me. I’m gonna miss having classes because before we know it everyone gonna be using the almost exact same load outs I feel. No one is restricted to certain weapon types anymore because of their class which is just off putting in a battlefield. Having to get good with the different weapons in each class brought so much enjoyment and variety. Honestly don’t understand the reasoning for the change tbh.

Honestly, there is so much that Battlefield 4 got that was perfect that just needed to be ported over. My missing spot ability combined with almost no visibility, harshly dark camouflage, and a small poor UI interface means ability to distinguish friend from foe and alert fellow players has thrown teamwork out the window. Teamwork used to be a primary thing in battlefield, a teamwork player that was a spotting, resupplying, healing and reviving could score nearly as high if not exceed simple high-kill player. These things need to change.

The class system is the biggest con for me. I liked that assault, engineer, support and recon classes. Now it feels like everybody is the same...

Do not like the idea of specialists. Also that specialists play both sides as it really breaks the immersion. Bring back the regular old grunt models like bf4

I absolutely HATE that the defibrillators are a animation now and it’s so long the stim cant even revive and I hate the specialist plz dice bring classes back :(

My biggest gripe with the game is the whole specialist system. For some odd reason they are still classified as Assault, Engineer, Medic, and Recon. If that's the case weapons and gadgets need to be locked to certain specialists otherwise the whole "teamplay" aspect of the series is pretty much gone.

"This is a true battlefield experience on roids" Uhh nah... nah it isn't bruh. We wanted a next generation BF3/BF4 experience, this is a weird codified mess. DICE is so out of touch with its own fan base these days it's unreal.

It's a shame that so many of the "bad" things about the game are baked into the fundamental design of the game and that they don't seem to be within the realm of fixability.
