There was another Union Park protest Thursday. Thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters were on a final permitted march on the 2024 Chicago DNC.

As a person who has actually volunteered and worked hard at the DNC of obamas time. as well as his campaign, Hillary and Joe, i can not stomach their hypocrisy this time. I really thought i was serving democracy. That was the voice of the oppressed.

In my opinion the protestors should not clash with police. Decently protesting is acceptable. Not burning 🥵 the Flag of the soils we stand and air we breathe. Americans are an educated ethnically brought up society. Me as an immigrant will never forget what this great land offered. I have nothing. Living a economically hard life. I’m glad to hear that when they are asking protesters to clear that they are telling them specific directions where they are allowed to go (North and East) and that, according to the reporter, those ways are clear. I had heard that outside an RNC a number of years ago the police told protesters to clear but there wasn’t actually a direction they were allowed to go in—any direction individuals would try to proceed they could only go a block and then there would be some officers there telling them they couldn’t go that way. That situation can really cause some people who are generally civically engaged to start to lose trust of the police.

These people are one issue. Of all the problems in the America that took them in, the only time u see them is when they are protesting for other countries and people. I haven't seen or heard of the activities that they do IN Gaza assuming that they are doing humanitarian works there.
