Had this model E280 2007 from new, after always having C classes though I would treat myself, loved the car and drive .
Hated the auto dip main headlamps thou as they dimmed after glare from road signs, unable to adjust it and drove me mad . ( up down up down 😡)
Then gearbox issues surfaced two years on ...
Apparently it was a fault Mercedes were aware of but wouldn’t admit.
So Traded it in for new face lift model E 2014

Trade this & R#@ merc in on its frontrunner Brother the C220 or c180. Earlier models. A better merc than this one.

Crap car I.m a taxi driver never seen a Mercedes with so much issues, always pay a lot of money at the garage.. Have driven all the Mercedes E class and S cars as a taxi driver the S class W 220 an other crap car from hell. The E class W210 is a better investment and a a much better car, only issue is that rust....
