The two people who disliked this probably got their jab capped.

No one teaches like you Marvin, I was so happy to see you uploading after 8 years! Lol. You alone helped me excel in my speed and fluidity just by your teaching descriptions. I’ve been training for 15 years too, haven’t seen one like you!

Haha now when I’m throwing my jab I’m gonna be saying “apple, apple, apple.” In my head 😂

I keep coming back to this jab tutorial over and over again.

True boxing stance and technique postulated here.

This is not what I want to do. But need to do. I keep coming back to this to keep me honest.

Melvin is the voice of wisdom and true boxing form and technique!

Hey man I want to thank you. I'm a old taekwondo enthusiast. And after watching your video, I found that my sliding moves. All my weight was up on the ball of my toe and like you said I was completely off balance. I train alone so it's hard to catch anything that I'm doing wrong so I just want to thank you again

Aligning boxer stance behind the jab is such great guidance, to me it validates the claim that it's the most important punch. Balanced use of the jab for protection, as well as to open attack. I'm gonna practice this as a top fundamental of the game, thank you Marvin. You're sharp!

My coaches are former Pro Heavyweight and light weight boxers. My coach that is a heavyweight fought Povetkin and Tommy Morrison. They have always taught me to step into my jab and i will continue to do that. If someone is trying to rush in there is no need to step in u can just throw it. But this is the only time i have ever disagreed with Marvin. If u are throwing that jab to be offensive u better step into it especially if u dont have the reach advantage. If u using it more so as a defense to keep people away u aint gotta step into it.

This lesson was phenomenal. I have been a mixed martial artist of a dozen various disciplines for over thirty-five years. Nonetheless, this was eye opening. Certainly, there is always something more to learn. Thank you so much.

Crazy, I remember watching Marvin Cook's videos when I barley started any form of striking 7-8 years ago. 8 years later, I'm still learning alot from the details of his content. Thanks!
