As an eleven year old protestant raised child I remember asking my father why we had ceased to have Prophets sent by God to guide us. His reply was simply seems like we should! That began a search for a Church with true Prophet, at 18 as a Soldier I was introduced to the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS. I am 85 and have been blessed with the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ every since.

As an 18 year-old Protestant boy raised in the Bible belt, I happened upon a friend who began to tell me an amazing story. In the presence of missionaries of this church, they taught this marvelous revealed and restored knowledge about the eternal plan of happiness. As they shared the these revealed truths, I proclaimed out loud “I’ve never heard this, but I recognize it.“

It was bc I have some memories (to help me through this life) of that first estate that led me to the church. No one ever believed me as a child that I knew we had lived with our Father in Heaven. It was very exciting to learn that the Church taught this as no other church does. The Lord gives us what we need to help us return home to Him.

I was first exposed to Jesus Christ's church when i was 12. I was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the age of 23. Im now 73 and it's been a bumpy ride. I know now as i did the day i joined the master's true Church, that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Christ's true Church on the earth.
