It gets worse when you get to established clubs with high expectations and a set style of playing, you’ll get murdered if you make a single mistake and no-one will feel sorry for you. Not the staff, not the players, not even the club itself. Cause it’s a normal thing. They don’t care about you unless you’re winning, and even then they still don’t care about you. You have to become a legend for them to actually care about how you are doing outside of the job. Happens with players a lot where after football, they are forgotten and often, their life or mental health goes down a drain. There’s no support or very little support where it’s needed the most.
