Hydroponic Tomatoes UPDATE

Hi, I'm wondering what happened to the rest. When you said Fresh Tomatoes All Winter! - I would have thought you'd be able to show us some of the real results and ongoing tomato growth. This video shows a couple of spindly plants and no tomatoes - What happened?

I wanted to ask you about the watering. My biggest problem when you’re growing some thing on soil is how much water do you give it. Everybody says add water. But they do not address in detail the amount of water when in soil. That’s how I kill everything year after year after year.

To help them tall skinny tomatoes if you put a fan on them when they're young it helps them get more rigid. Plus when you transfer plant them you can fold the stem over to shorten them a little, but don't snap in half. The roots will grow off the stem as well.

Great update. How much effort did you need to put into the hydroponic tomatoes between the last video and this one? Do you think it is possible to create a system where you can set it and forget it? I have done that will lutece but tomatoes i expect would be harder. Am I right?

Hi, great work, did you gave up? I’d love to see your selfsustainable home mini garden growing 😍 and motivate other to do so. I have some questions as i try to also do it, so watching the progress in community always is huge motivation and joy. I have some questions: 1) how you grow those little for begging? Do you think you can do it from friut seeds actually?2) why you switch to soil? 3) do you think its possible to prepare own natural nutrients than buying not knowing whats inside? I wana grow mine 100 natural. Also if you could write all ‘ingerdients’ u use in the description, it would be much help 🙏 Hope to see this account revived 😊

I can’t say just by looking but it appears like a deficiency issue for either light, fertilizer, or both. Tomatoes should be way bigger, bushier, greener, and thicker.

Invest in a solar power air pump/stone for your outdoor Kratky pots, the growth will be explosive ... give it a try only $20 at the most from Amazon bro :-)

No oxygen to the roots = slow sickly growth, unless you look into introducing beneficial anaerobic bacteria. Get air to the roots (air pump) & introduce aerobic bacteria, you'll be amazed at the results.
