I used neem oil last year for the first time for powdery mildew in my high tunnels and it kills it completely. You need to try it!

Thanks for your videos on tomatoes care. Please, which distance between each bucket? Some growers put 2 plants in one bucket. Are you OK with that? which variety is your favorite for big nice tomatoes? How many flowers do you keep in a cluster? Some growers remove some.

Great vids!! What about video on how you seed your tomatoes and transplant them into the dutch bucket. Also, why do you use perlite and not clay balls? Pro's Con's? Thanks again.

Root trimming would be easier with a square net cup with 2 slots for 2 tomatoes. Also we could hopefully not have to use so much perlite as disposal is a pain in the # because it's water logged and heavy. I don't want to reuse as it's a pain to store and sanitizing.

G'day mate,

Do you have a link that shows how you build your dutch bucket setup, in particular how your drainage plug works and where it's placed? I've seen and know where and how the drainage plug is placed in setups where the drainage hole is on the side of the bucket and not the underside.

TIA!

I'm not sure what's going on with my Tomato plant. Never had this problem before, this is my 3rd growing season of RAF and Hungarian Tomatos, using Masterblend Tomato formula. No bugs, no visible disease. Leaves are a bit leathery not wilting. So what's wrong with them. Only 2 buckets on the system this time instead of 6. Roots are beautiful and white and several buds appearing.
