An 8 is very generous of Gamespot. A 6.5 or maximum a 7 would be more justified since the superior Skyward Sword got 7.5.

I'm confused. In the review he says 60 frames a second. Is that the case? I've bought it and I'm pretty sure it's running at 30. Not a deal breaker though.

Timeless classic. I don't care what the score is. To to me it's a 10 because I already played it and will be playing it again.

I know I'll love this just for the updated graphics and the swift sail! Sailing is my favorite aspect of this game, but having to CONSTANTLY change the wind is the biggest hassle. Having the swift sail automatically turn the wind would make the game much more enjoyable. As far as the graphics go, they were already majestic, and I just know having the HD version will make me just want to have Link stand still and gaze at the beautiful sky at sea in awe!

Its sad how wind waker the game that is thought as one of there favorite games for so many people and it only scored and 8 but the yearly copy paste of call of duty scores an 8.8 and higher most of the time.

You aren't the only one. I loved it too. It made it feel more immersive. If you were on a real adventure, you'd have to deal with stuff like getting from place to place slowly. I enjoyed sailing around for hours, haha.

there are actually some new treasure charts surprisingly and personally if you play this version you'll like way more then the original.

of course they do^^ ... maybe not in this game, but these animations are so smoothly, i cant imagine its only on 30 fps. The GC version had 30 fps, too, so...

I'm kind of confused. It looks like it runs at 30 fps, but in this review it was stated to be 60. That, and the gameplay actually seems to look a bit smoother in the video than it is on my own TV? My TV is pretty crappy and kind of old, but it still seems a bit strange.
