Always hated public speaking until I figured out that I had information to impart that would be useful to the audience.

We were raised as 1st gen Canadians ...refugee from Hungary, and my father was military. Never had a choice to be weak. He scared the shit out of more, than being afraid of fear. We had to learn to feign confidence in spite of fear. Taught us to face fear and have courage to do whatever we could no matter what.
Eventually that was a skill.
I remember being intimidated at times by others "more qualified" I just pictured them with diarrhea cramps rocking on the toilet....
Made them human like me.
Dad always said "remember you are not better than anyone else, but they aren't better than you"

I truly love learning from you Chase! I have learned so much about my flaws and strengths. I have learned to control my emotions and really listen to others. That's huge for me bc I used to always have to respond and talk. Now I respond by showing interest and probing more info from the person and have gained stronger friendships.
