What’s easier to untie?

The answer is the Figure 8!

This was originally supposed to be a break test video but the rope stretched too far so we improvised 🤣

The Figure 9 is very similar to the Figure 8 on a Bight, but has an extra twist before you finish it. It is stronger than a figure 8 but is definitely more bulky, and can be harder to tie properly. It is great for climbing, caving and for simply making a loop at the end of your rope.

The Figure 8 on a bight is great for climbing, rescue, and caving because of its high breaking strength 🧗‍♀️It is one of the strongest knots with a loop, just behind the Figure 9! Keep in mind that it can be difficult to untie after a big load!

have you guys tried square knots yet. boy scouts says its strong and easy to take apart, now test it to the extreme lol

I have a question, I just saw a video of something that can’t possibly happen. I saw them take two interlocking textbooks and it won’t pull apart. Would you be able to do that and if so how many pounds of pressure would it take to pull them apart
