This is insane!! You're absolutely right Hector... however I feel that many clients, especially busy business owners, may not have the time or patience to navigate multiple steps like this or complex situations.. etc.

I work for QBO, and a customer is the one that just directed me to this video! He wasn't too happy with the idea. I had no idea about this, but I am not surprised either. QBO in general is implementing AI, so this is coming I would say for sure. . AI is coming for a lot of jobs! Thanks for the video and insight.

I feel like business owners will still call their bookkeeper/accountant for tech support on how to use QBO. The innovation of AI is incredible and will help us be more productive and profitable.

I’m hoping we can find a great balance to help but not take over accounting jobs. We are currently looking at AI options to do our automation for transaction categorization within QBO, and we can focus more on the clients other financial needs. Thanks so much, Hector!

For large corporations like Google, Microsoft, or even Intuit, investing heavily in AI is primarily a way to maximize profits for shareholders by minimizing labor costs. This is a deeply concerning trend.
