This is my first Toastmaster's speech, which was performed at Halliburton's Oak Park office in Houston, TX. This speech is assigned as the Icebreaker speech to be 4-6 minutes long. I used it as an opportunity to talk about a camping trip that inspired my move away from my hometown to New York City. The title is "Nothing is Too Big from its Center."

Hi Sondra,

I just came back to India from Houston last evening, and was watching a couple of speeches so that I could prepare mine, and came across your speech. Wonderful it is, it doesn't look like an icebreaker, but is an expert work. Much too impressive, with a great deal of emotions poured in. Enjoyed thoroughly :-)

I love your story and your cadence. I was carried along into Utah at night under the stars. Wow.

I love your speech. I hope I could do the same when I deliver my icebreaker speech this month.

Good job. Why don't males involve themselves in ToastMasters? TM is ( by statistics) 76% female.
