Hey guys! In this video, We share some of the best attractions in Zambia plus some of the reasons as to why you should visit Zambia. Zambia is a country located in the Southern part of the African continent with a population of close to 20 million people and its biggest city and capital is Lusaka. These Attractions include;
Zambezi River Cruise. Going for a boat cruise on the Zambezi river is one of the best experiences in the world. This can best be experienced during the sunset hours maybe over dinner and you also get a chance to watch some wild animals on the river banks.
Victoria Falls (Mosi-oa-Tunya Falls). These are the biggest and most thrilling waterfalls in the world. They're the most visited site in Zambia and they were also included among the UNESCO World Heritage sites. The falls stretch out for close to 2kmwith water falling off a cliff
Kapishya Hot Springs. These are some of the world wonders where hot water springs from the earth's crust to the surface. These hot springs are sulphur-free and you can camp around them for you to have that amazing experience
Kawaza Village. You would agree that with modernization, it's hardly possible to find an authentic and organic African village today. But while on your trip to Zambia, you can visit the Kawaza village that has done its best to remain unchanged from what a traditional African village looked like centuries ago.
Batoka Gorge (White water Rafting). You could also visit the Batoka Gorge on the Zambezi river for White water rafting but we must warn you that this is not for the faint-hearted.This is definitely an amazing experience. The rapids on this river are categorized into grades and Grade 7 is considered the safest for beginners.
Kafue National Park. This is one of the largest parks in Africa. The park has a variety of wild animals for those people that love the wild. Among these animals includes Leopards, antelopes and many more. You will definitely enjoy the game drives in the park.
Livingstone Museum. This is more than just an exhibition of artifacts. It's an experience that helps bridge the past and the present history of Zambia and Africa at large. The Livingstone Museum is also the largest and oldest museum in Zambia with great archeological and cultural exhibits of the people of Zambia.
Lusaka Markets. In this capital Lusaka, you should also check out the Lusaka markets and these include; Fresh food markets, Flea markets and Craft markets. I guarantee that you'll be able to pick yourself some souvenirs that will crown your memorable experience about Zambia.
