Hey guys! I'm really enjoying your posts on Zambia. I'm a retired photographer from Canada and I live here with my beautiful Zambian wife. I've been here just over 3 years and absolutely love this place! I'm glad you're enjoying it too. Used to live on Lusaka, but now stay in Kabwe, a few hours drive north in central province. Enjoy your stay!!! 😌😃

I feel like crying when I hear the truth about our real nature as Africans. We are peaceful people as our environment. We are not often spoken but that does not change who we are. We never boast that we live in paradise...🇿🇲

The name of those falls means the same thing in the Sepedi language in South Africa, Mushi wa thunya....mushi=smoke, thunya=loud bang...plus to my understanding the Lozi language is similar to Sepedi, Sotho and Setswana

Zambia was a British colony and became an independent country in 1964, first president was Kenneth Kaunda who ruled for 27 years and died last year in June (2021). Zambia first held multiparty elections in 1991, has consistently held peaceful elections and those in which the ruling party lost the party magnanimous conceded defeat and handed over power to to the winning party and the current president is the 7th. In 2015 when the fifth president, Michael Sata died his vice Guy Scott who is of European descent acted as president for three months until the new president was elected.

Zambia is an extremely peaceful country and one of a number of African countries never to have experienced a civil strife.

Hey Micki. This is Pamela, from Rwanda. I really enjoyed the video. Its a nice new platform feature. Your teaching gift proficiently shines through!!! May God bless you and your family for continuing to light the pathway for the Black diaspora to make it back to their homeland that they no little about.

Hope this kind of precise video start getting into our schools all over Africa because it has been shown that even most of us in Africa do not know much about our fellow Africans and their countries.

Huh, I don't know why I reacted that way, may have to check myself!( 😆) However, part of the reason is that I am really chuffed and humbled that you guys took the time to present my country that I love soo much in a positive light! Thank you so much for that guys! You've got a new subscriber here!

Zambia, is just another beautiful Country within the Continent of Africa. It is so nice, and refreshing to see, and hear for a change Black People narrating their own historic places in the Motherland.

I am loving how You vocally narrated this video. Thank You for sharing Zambia, it is so beautiful in landscapes, and with its beautiful People, and the many Animals and resources it possesses.
Jehovah God has blessed the African Continent abundantly.

Its no wonder why so many outside Countries have (and still are) invaded the Motherland and are trying to possess every inch of it's wealth and beauty. Wishing The Unapologetic Nomads, a very good week. Keep up the good work!!

Perfect 👌🏾 narration and as a Zambian, I appreciate this. 💯 By the way, Mosi-O-Tunya is pronounced Mo-see - o-toon nee-ya. Our national beer is Mosi (Mo-see) named after our famous aforementioned falls. Thank you Unapologetic Nomads. #Zambia the real Africa.
