I drove for three years in Sacramento. I bought a new car. The numbers you had are very close to my area but you need to factor in the milage which in my case was over 100, 000 miles. Two sets of tires and I don't know how many oil changes plus wear and tear on my car. Scratches customers provided. Also the depreciation of my vehicle which was close to $3, 000 bucks. Not worth it. Although I enjoyed most of my customers which is another story

All your time should be included when turning on the APp, , not just time when driving a person. Also all miles driven, not just with a passenger.

I do door dash and just sit outside my chic Gil e and make around $8 per delivery. I choose and only accept ones that are like 1.9 - 2.9 miles away.
Seems signing up for Lyft is a waste of time, and a danger to your life with strangers.

It's a number close to 10 usd an hour before taxes, maybe 0, 70 cents a mile after tax and gas, all these apps Uber, Lyft, Doordash, Grubhub etc etc average same shit.

Garbage. Your time is from the time you get in the car to drive till the time you get out, minus lunch breaks. Gas isn't @ $50 - it's an exact number. And expenses aren't just gas. Depreciation, tires/brakes, car washes, preventive maintenance and an allotted expense per mile for major breakdowns.
