Just set the phone on the cowl and looped this video over and over. Going *very* slowly, alone, took me about 4 hours start to finish.
Before you start, get the pick & pry set of tools, and the plastic retainer clip removal tools. Absolute must. Also make sure your torque wrench reads down to 60 inch pounds. My El Cheapo only went down to 120 so I had to stop and go buy another one. Good luck and thanks for this video!

Appreciate it bro, I just made 350 dollars as a side job and your step by step tutorial is what got me through looking like a real mechanic lol. Don't worry I'm an apprentice but I was definitely nervous

I’m am thoroughly impressed by TRQs self help video instructions. I always learn the correct way to perform a repair on my car. But this particular video sadly reminded me of the many, many engineering blunders of this particular dodge 6 cylinder motor. Never ever again will I buy a dodge.

Perfect timing for this super clear step-by-step procedure for this. I'll be tackling this job this weekend. Many thanks for explaining for to disconnect the dizzying array of electrical connectors!

Update: Finished the job. Definitely not something I'd want to do again. Tedious and lots of hard to reach connections and bolts. Took me about 6 hours over two days. Radiator hose clamp pliers help for that hard to reach coolant hose.

Great video! My 2013 ram has the fuel rail and injecters connected into the lower intake housing so it comes out with the intake nicely. No injector removal required.

Wow, how the heck do you remember where everything goes when putting it all back together lol. Definitely not attempting this myself that's for sure. Great video though, very informative.

Such a horrible design this engine. What were they thinking!

You don’t have to take the fuel rails off they come off with the lower intake plenum as a whole assembly

This video is very good. It really helped me with changing the housing. However, DO NOT torque the upper plenum bolts to 89 in-lb. I popped two threads from the lower plenum doing this. I made it work with lag bolts. “7-9 Nm” is stamped right on the plenum. (62-80 in-lbs max)

Did the coolant have to be drained prior?

Is this a TRQ replacement part, and if so where can it be purchased?

I was wondering if you have to drain the coolant and the oil, or is this a remove and install procedure

What's the average cost of this at any reputable mechanical shop????

For the coolant hose, did you drain the coolant system first?

Isn’t this the exact same pentestar that’s on the caravan just mounted differently for a rear wheel drive truck …didn’t need to take off the fuel rails to take off the manifold on my caravan pentestar

I finished the install today but haven’t changed the oil yet. After I finished I didn’t start the truck but I turned it on to see if any lights came on and the check engine light is flashing. Is this just because I haven’t changed the oil yet possibly or may I have messed something bigger up? Thanks for any and all help!
