I was an LVN for 25 years and I progressed through the ranks ending up as an Administrative Director with an annual salary of $165, 000 a year plus bonuses 😍

Working casual is the way to go. The culture, stress and burnout in nursing is not worth it. Most nurses who don't balance their work and life often end up with Chronic diseases and substance abuse issues. Always remember that we work to live, not live to work. God bless.

Working as an LPN now and making $90k+.
Have worked Urgent Care, Emergency Call Center, Psych Hospital, Federal Prison, Department of VA, Military Hospital, and Home Health (part time).

If your single focus is making money then LPN isn't a bad choice. I've had two jobs as long as I want to. When I want a break I take it.

I generally make at least $90k per year.
Even in my earlier years I was making $80k but that was because I didn't know how to negotiate as well!

LPN is what’s up❤ I worked long term care for many years got burned out majorly 😢and now I’m a correctional nurse. I am making over $35.00/hr and with the weekend diff it’s definitely my final resting place😅 I work night shift and at this age when I am not legally responsible for any living being so I can sleep all day if I want to…your description of the correctional nurse was on point… ❤

I just applied to an LPN program after multiple attempts to get into an RN program. Prayerfully, I’ll be starting in the Spring and can put this video to good use! You got me so excited💜

Awesome video.!! I have been a LVN for 6 years now. I've done pediatrics home health, nursing home/Ltd, Major Hospital Clinic/Doctors office (neurology). But the most consistent and my favorite is Hospice nursing (continuous care) . I currently contract my services to staffing agencies. I have more flexibility and get paid alot more!!

Definitely, I left bedside 2 years after getting my LVN license. I now work giving vaccinations at different schools and companies and I love it! ❤️

Great video! I've been an LPN for 23 years. I've worked in nursing homes, pediatric home care and through agencies.

It’s nice to read everyone’s experience in the comments. I work in an office setting and while it is not like the hospital it is still very stressful and I am always running back and forth doing different things

I've even met LPNs who landed positions as Unit Managers in nursing homes.

Lol not you doing the rest of the video with one earring 😂 this was a great video idea, I feel like I focus so much on RN that I forget to do videos on the other specialties of nursing!
Forensic nursing is definitely a growing field and I know a lot of nurses that wanted to do correctional nursing when I was in school!
I do aesthetic nursing now, but there’s so many specialties you can go into, and if you get bored, you can always switch to another one! ☺️

I start LPN school in Spring 2022! I'm excited. I'm hoping to do mental health facility or residential nursing home work afterwards. Thanks for the video! Sunny 🌞

Sunny! Thank you so much on you very educational video. I've been so indecisive in my career path over the last 14 years. I started off as a PCA in 2007. Later got my CNA in 2016. Now I'm undecided on if I want to go right into RN school or start off with LPN. After watching this video I feel like my conclusion on starting off with a LPN is the right choice for me. I'm okay with crawling before I walk. Seems to have been my strategy thus far without even realizing it. So this fall I'll start and finish my prerequisites with hope to begin Practical Nursing courses for the spring semester. Lord willing I'll be a LPN by the end of Summer 2022. Please pray for me to get through. Your video has truly blessed me, Thanks again!
