Scientists Might Have Finally Found the Reason of the Last Mass Extinction

It was an ordinary prehistoric day sixty-six million years ago. Megafauna was having megaflora for brunch. Nobody had the faintest idea that a catastrophe was going to strike in three..., two..., one - a space object whose diameter equaled half of Manhattan hit Earth. According to scientists, this event could have triggered a mass extinction. As a result of climate change, around seventy-five percent of flora and fauna died. Almost all dinosaurs were gone. Except for the first pioneers of the sky. But why would scientists think that the culprit of the tragedy was from outer space? Who was the suspect here on Earth? What were the investigative leads? How was the evidence gathered?
And was there an asteroid in the first place?

I've always felt the rat-like little mammals who we evolved from, were egg-stealers. Breaking into eggs to eat the yolks. They were too small and fast for dinosaurs to defend against.

The lack of high density of oxygen is mostly the reason why the majority of these creatures doesn’t exist today. Same for trees - they are much smaller than what they were.

"scientists might have finally found out what caused the last mass extinction" and then they go on to say what we have all already been taught our whole lives.

They totally heavens gated themselves because they knew David Attenborough would one day narrate their lives.

Their couldn't of been just one reason for dinosaurs to be completely wiped out. I believe their were multiple reasons.

I love how the space object killed the dinos and left the other animals

There was an asteroid because there is a massive crater that kilometres wide somewhere in Mexico I believe

The sad thing is we've known about extinction-level space rocks for almost half a century now and literally no one has done anything to try and prevent the next one.

The last time I was this early, dinosaurs were still chilling

how did an asteroid about 11 kms wide appear from quite literally nowhere and killed all of the dinosaurs except for one?

At any minute a asteroid could hit us and we wouldn't see it coming

YouTube says your claim that a celestial object smashing into Earth is incorrect, it's humans. Humans caused climate change during the Jurassic Period.
