I disagree whole heartedly. This food changed my dog's life! No more emergency vet visits dealing with stomach issues. No more 😮vet bills in the thousands. My neighbor achieved the same result.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with FreshPet. That is the only food my Pepita will eat. I have done my research and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. And there is nothing wrong with my Pepita's stomach, stool, or his GI. He has a perfectly healthy stomach.

The ingredient "carrageenan" is seaweed used in the roll dog food as an emulsifier (to bind all the ingredients together). I did not find this ingredient is their bite size recipe dog food. Anyhow, it's not a dangerous ingredient.

Oh, please. You’re lying for your views/etc. Fresh Pet is perfectly fine. If your dog is having a reaction to it then he/she is maybe allergic to a specific ingredient. People like this person who made this video need to stop spreading false information for views.

I started making my own dog food from human grade food. I use lots of organ meats including beef hearts kidneys. I use all natural ingredients my dog's love it . Truthfully it is a labor of love. It's time consuming. But I have 4 dog's and a foster, so paying 200$ a week for the ones they sell on line. I make my months worth for about 150$ so it's so much cheaper and I freeze it so it's win win. Thank you so much for all this knowledge

This food changed my goldendoodles life (and mine) he suffered from so many GI issues. Even after discovering chicken allergy & feeding Ollie for 2 years. He never had solid stool until I started feeding this.

I fed this to my dog years ago. Never had issues... May be depending on the dog in general. Never had loose stool issues, only for the first few because, obviously switching from kibble. Most of my dogs diet was other raw foods.

I feed Fresh Pet currently, but I am here because I do want to change it. I think its better than the kibble I have read over and over in the local feed stores and pet supply stores, if I didn't have and rescue so many pets I would 100% no question cook for all of them (which I am still leaning into soon probably) I don't love all the kibble options at all and frankly, I want to go all vegetarian, my dogs are going to look at me like I am nuts. But, the amount of chicken I actually SEE in my Fresh pet is questionable on how much protein is even in it, because I do find there is pea protein in it rather than meat protein. Food for thought. I am hearing what this creator has to say and I am nodding my head yes, I agree. It might work for some dogs and some dogs might eat it, but I had some clients dogs eat ol roy, which I would never feed my dogs. food for thoughts.

I have used Freshpet now for the past year with my 8 now 9 yeaR old American Staffy. I used Rachel Ray, Royal Canine and Dr. Hills Science diet. Fresh Pet is the 1st food that has lowered his weight by 10 lbs and has boosted his energy like he is 2 or 3 years old again. Seeing him in action at the dog park is like going back in time watching him run and hang with the puppies. It is expensive but its a great food. Not to mention how regular he now is with perfect bowel movements that arent diarrhea ish

My dog used to eat kibble and had terrible bloat issues and terrible issues with pancreatitis and other problems about one day a week at least he would be on the couch looking like he was in pain. I changed him to fresh Pet 4 months ago and it helped him tremendously we've had no bad days since he started the food hes 11 and he acts like hes 3 all of a sudden his coat is great he doesn't have a bloated abdomen anymore so I'd have to disagree because I've seen what freshmen has done for my dog and I do not get any money from fresh Pat I don't know anybody at fresh Pat I'm just speaking from my personal experience. Carrageenan comes from red edible seaweed and I really wouldn't say that's the worst thing you can find in dog foods plus they put it in human foods too and I've never seen my dog have a loose stool in in my case it's the complete opposite he was having oily loose stools when he was on the other food fresh Pat both of my dog's stools are normal completely normal not loose at all. The best part of all this is my husband's grandma when she was alive when freshpet came out my mother in law bought some and she thought it was liver worst and she ate it she didn't have a loose stole or any problems and she is a human being. I in no way get any money from fresh pet. I don't know anybody who works at the company I'm just speaking from my personal experience with my dogs my other dog I adopted who was my husband's grandmother's dog when she passed way was very obese( her dog) and I have been feeding it fresh Pat for the past 4 months and The dog has continued to lose weight which is great because she was morbidly obese.

Depending on your dog the bench mark I use is human grade food 60 to 80 percent meat and ideally muscle meat wild meats are a good option. Also avoid cheap fillers. I look for fruit and veg fillers. I think people over complicate it. The best foods can wise I use so far is carnilove, terra cannis and country hunter and neutro

My dog literally will not eat kibble. She will go two days without eating it. I know she won’t starve herself, but fresh pet has been great for us!
