Great tip, inspiring technique, and convolution is a super underrated tool! My favorite, especially for sound design, remains SIR3.

Lovely sounding modulation, flexible and elegant routing, parametric eq and high/mid/low damping dials, resizable semi-modular interface... Really such a gem!

I don't recall seeing a 'width envelope' anywhere else, except Sonible Smart reverb, but theirs doesn't seem to 'bloom' in the same way satisfying way...
