On this Earth, humans are the dominant species. Our defining characteristic is our intelligence. We might be weaker than chimpanzees and less agile, but we are smarter.

Now, what happens when something vastly smarter than the smartest person comes along in silicon form? Yes! It takes over. And Elon thinks this is going to happen soon. It is not very difficult to predict what will happen in the future because we are already seeing tiny bits of it.

AI, or artificial intelligence, is getting better. And better. And better. These machines can now learn, adapt, and evolve. They can process information faster and more accurately than any human ever could. That's why Elon Musk thinks AI is so dangerous. More dangerous than nuclear war.
