My House is Falling Apart

That's a tough story to share but it is a story no matter what continuation it is going to have.
Most of my nightmares are in this house, as well as some of the brightest dreams.

Be very careful when working with those corrugated fiber cement roofing tiles. They look old enough that they probably contain asbestos. Don’t break them or drill holes and if you replace them, keep them whole and dispose properly. As long as they're intact they aren’t dangerous but when broken they release asbestos fibers exposure to which can cause asbestosis. Best of luck with the renovations!

First priority is to waterproof the house to seal the roof so that all the work you do inside is protected, the next thing is to secure the house foundations everything can be done cheaply if you are doing the work yourself if a house is being demolished nearby sometimes you can source materials for free of at very little cost I have helped on two house rebuilds in my life both helping family

YOU are your grandads future. He wouldn't want you to be harmed in any way from the home he built.

I see in the end you found something a bit better than foam for the cracks in the roof. I am impressed by your ingenuity. I am a bit surprised that there isn´t a man around the house, or maybe he is the one filming ;-)

You made the right choice to renovate this country house which will look really nice when renovation works are finished. It is worth trying to do it, as it was your grandma's house and this is very important. Our grandparents made a lot of sacrifices to build their own house and they are part of our memory. I would have done the same, trying to "rebuilt" it if possible, naturally. Thank you very much for this awesome video.

Dear Katsiaryna, You've invested so much effort into rebuilding your old house, I admire that. I love the way you try to solve problems and never give up. The house seems to be in really bad shape and if I were You I'd consider tearing it down and building a new one from the ground up. But before I have to ask do You have any other place to stay?
