The sacks that simulated the Banshee breathing was something that really took it to the next level for me. Small but Important.

I have a condition where my brain does not combine the vision from right and left eyes together. (Think split screen TV seeing the same pic) This also means I dont see in 3d like you can and I cant watch 3D movies. Basically I see in 2d, judging distance by comparing size. I.E. larger things = closer and vice versa.
Now in 2017 I was extremely excited to ride the ride the first time! Then I saw the glasses and my heart just dropped to the floor cause as you now know, I cant see 3D. Well I went on the ride anyway.
I honestly dont know what or how Disney has created such magic.... For the first time in my life I was able to see what you see. I saw in 3D. I was so moved I cried.
I'm sure the two cast members that saw me afterwards thought I had been scared. It took me a good hour to recover enough to explain to my husband what I saw/experienced.
The only time I get to see what you see every days is during a 5 minute ride over 900 miles away.
Thank you Disney, for giving me a chance to see.

Hands down the best ride in Disney. Worth the wait, almost two hours in line. The 4D effects are outstanding, you could even smell the forest at one point when the banshee dives down there. And when you’re flying over water, oh boy, I loved it!

Like others have said, it is hard now to keep your emotions in check. This ride brings out emotions I never knew existed, almost like a different level of euphoria. I kept pondering after the ride and wondered if I had a simple brain because of how well they tricked me. It felt real even though I knew how it worked. This ride should be the standard when building other immersive rides. Thanks Disney for the memories! Great job on the video!

As a Cast Member who works at Flight Of Passage guests will get off in tears. Most people are just really overcome with emotion. I've also been behind the screen while guests are riding it's quite a cool experience.

This is most likely the best ride in the history of the world. It is an amazing visually stunning ride. It is pure joy. I can still smell the scents of the ride.

I have to say, this is hands down my favorite ride ever. I will gladly wait 2-3 hours to ride it over and over again

One of the absolute best rides I have ever been on. Feeling the Banshee breathe while you ride while on it was a complete surprise and it made the ride. It felt like you were actually getting a little taste of riding for real. It is amazing how advanced rides are becoming. I love it.

I rode this my senior year of high school. The whole time I was on it, I could not stop thinking about how I would love to know the technical stuff behind the ride. I'm now a sophomore in college and am so happy to have found this video. Thank you for doing the research and, more importantly, sharing that research with us.

I worked as a project supervisor at DH Griffin installing the ride, the mechanical part of it. I was there since the first anchor bolts, to the first time the ride came to life. I can tell that is an amazing technology! The safety features are the best. There are miles of tubing to deliver the mist and scent. In the 4th room, 3 floor in the right section is an easter egg: There is one beam with all the signatures of every single amazing man and woman that made the magic happen.

Imagine if the next avatar movie is completely 4d like this and had its own exclusive theater with all the equipment to move the seats, pump out smells and air, and mist you AHHHH that would be so cool!!!!

This past year I went to Disney World for my first time (a life long dream). I was blown away the whole time, and just barely able to keep my emotions in check. Until I got on Flight of Passage. Between the beauty of the ride itself and the joy I could hear for the people around me, I couldn't help myself but cry with delight.

The wait is like 4 hours but honestly it’s 100% worth the wait. I’d wait 6 hours for this thing if that’s what it took. This ride will change your life

Just rode it today and I’m still blown away. This is something I will never forget. Most amazing ride ever. I thought Harry Potter was great but this took the cake for me. Definitely will be going back.
