I like the retracing your steps part.. Some people have unfairly left their partners in the name of serving God even after they both agreed to stop whatever and stay pure. This thrives in the common knowledge that, once people in relationships go "farthest" then there should never be a decision to remain in the relationship irrespective of the cautions that can be put in place to stop or halt any reoccurrence.
