I like that she started out expressing empathy for people brought into an experiential type of faith associated with evangelicalism. For many who truly engage with religious ideas, they had a phase in their past when they were beholden to authoritarian teaching, and had to find a way to get past that. I wonder whether there is a shortcut.

I wonder if Elaine believes Cristos existed and what her viewpoints are on the historical aspects of Iesus are in contexts of literalism.

I really like the comparative and adaptive insights amongst the Gospels. When I started learning of non-canonical writings, that’s when my world changed. Kind of put me in a rough spot with my wife’s family, all I did was question. I’ve heard multiple times “you like to know too much.” I think claims like these are intellectual/psychological poison.

Were the gnostic gospels circulating prior to the 4th century as claimed by the orthodox heresiologists before they were destroyed by the orthodox? Or were the gnostic gospels written in the 4th century in reaction and response to Constantine's Bible and the orthodox heresiologists lied about that?

The true faith is defined by LOVE. Perhaps not quite in the way humanity thinks, but more in line with Divine perspectives.

Jesus told greatest commandment of all is love.

God has numerous Divine Laws which governs the human soul...body too...but more so the soul, because THE SOUL IS WHO WE REALLY ARE.
