Prof Baogang He on President Xi's warning that China will not be bullied or oppressed

President Xi Jinping has warned that China will not be bullied as the ruling Communist Party marks its 100th anniversary. Professor Baogang He from Deakin University shared his thoughts on Mr Xi's warning, the symbolism of his outfit, and the most pressing challenges facing the Communist Party.

Baogang He said, Xi's message is that "China is willing to sacrifice 1.4 billion....". I don't think that it's accurate. Xi meant to say that 1.4 billion Chinese people are willing to sacrifice themselves to defend China. I knew immediately Baogang He ate too much Pompeo's brown paste.

Lee Hsien Loong thinks he enjoys Anglo-Saxon privileges because he speaks Singlish! Even though this professor is of Chinese descent, he is pretty dumb when talking about Xi's Zhong Shan style suit. If you look at all decade PRC anniversary, the President and General Secretary wears the Zhong Shan style suit as part of the traditional. If you look at past anniversaries, the Premiers and other PSC members standing next to the President doesn't wear the suit, only the General Secretary (look at Hu and Jiang). He clearly doesn't know what he is talking about.

The suit didn't originate from Mao. It originated from Sun Zhongshan (Sun Yat Sen) the first Republican President. Thus the name of the suit, Zhongshan style
