New Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport Line variant gives customers the ability to benefit from the spaciousness and practicality of CR-V, while choosing a more sporty style. Upgrades to the interior improve the refined and premium feel of the Honda CR-V Hybrid.

At the front, the bold design integrates the latest Honda family ‘face’, including the solid wing graphic and signature headlight shape, with LED illumination as standard. A sculpted front bumper is complemented by the body’s clean surfacing, and framed by a slim grille in the front valance.
The rear haunches are heavily contoured compared to the third generation CR-V, complemented by wider arches over all four wheels.

The new Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport Line grade is available in a choice of two paint finishes, Crystal Black Pearl or Platinum White Pearl. It also incorporates dark style accents, for the headlight trim and door mirrors, while a black finish is also applied to the alloy wheels and wheel nuts.
Sport Line models are further distinguished by a dark chrome finish around the fog lights and on the grille with accompanying accents on the bumper, door and tailgate. Privacy glass is included as standard for both FWD and AWD Sport Line variants, to complement the sophisticated look.

The drive selector controls for the new Honda CR-V e:HEV are positioned on the centre console, with a compact switch-style transmission selector rather than a conventional lever. Drive, Park and Neutral functions require a button push, while Reverse requires a pull-up action.

‘Sport’ mode, activated via the drive selector, enables a more responsive throttle input for the hybrid system. A short-range pure EV mode is also available at the touch of a button, providing a zero-emissions range of around 2 km (1.2 miles) depending on the driving conditions and the battery’s state of charge.The platform provides the perfect foundation for the CR-V’s engaging dynamics.

At the front, lower-arm-type front MacPherson strut suspension provides high lateral rigidity for linear handling responses, and low longitudinal rigidity for optimised ride compliance. Dual pinion variable-ratio electric power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering – also featured on the Honda Civic – has been specifically tuned for the Hybrid CR-V, with additional tuning work carried out for European models.

The second-generation Honda Connect software in the Honda CR-V Hybrid e:HEV offers enhanced intuitive operation and full, seamless smartphone integration via both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Integration with Apple CarPlay means that Honda Connect brings iPhone functionality to the driving experience, delivering the interface through the built-in display. Drivers can get directions, make calls, send and receive messages, and listen to music, controlled via the touchscreen or by voice using Apple’s Siri commands.

Engineers on the CR-V e:HEV programme have sought to ensure that the transfer between power sources – including the engine stop-start function – is virtually imperceptible to occupants. The smooth transfer of torque means there is no driveline shunt or undesirable feedback through the pedals or steering wheel, meaning the car boasts outstanding noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) management.

The new Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport Line grade is introduced alongside several updates to all variants of the fifth-generation CR-V. Interior trim is updated with a lustrous silver finish applied to elements on the centre console, doors cards and dashboard accents. Other updates include a new 18” alloy wheel design for all grades and privacy glass for models. Wireless smartphone charging is added to top grade models.

The new Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport Line grade – available with a choice of two paint finishes, Crystal Black Pearl or Platinum White Pearl – incorporates darkened style accents to broaden the appeal of the CR-V e:HEV. These accents include the headlight trim, door mirrors and dark chrome garnishes, with a black finish also applied to the alloy wheels and wheel nuts.

Honda CR-V Hybrid retains its sophisticated exterior design with broad, muscular wheel arches, sharp contours on the bonnet and rear quarters, as well as the Honda family ‘face’ with its signature headlight graphic.The refreshed model continues to benefit from best-in-class space efficiency, with generous space for all occupants, as well as a wide, deep boot with a long load bay. A hands-free power tailgate also enables convenient loading access on certain grades.

Dude, I really appreciate your review. Well, many folks still don't understand that this is a family SUV, it's not been built for racing. It's out there for those who want better fuel mileages. Those who want a fast & furious SUV, then go for an Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Jeep grand Cherokee, Lambo, etc. The overall exterior looks superb & interior design also looks superb. Many folks like to criticize! Honda cars are worth & reliable. Those folks out there who like to criticize, just get yourselves cars which will suit your purpose as you are not obliged to buy this CRV and nobody is forcing on you! Dude, keep it up. Very nice review.

My wife and I test drove it and we just had to have one, the driving experience is quiet and comfortable and the AC is really good too. The back seats also have AC vents so when we travel with passengers they can fine tune the air for themselves. We ended up springing for the Touring edition because it has some nice extra features we wanted too like the upgraded sound system, built in GPS navigation and the no touch hatchback opening for when your hands are full of groceries. We get the car in two weeks and are looking forward to it. Your review was great and confirmed my feelings of how well it drives.

I got one Hybrid CRV. Great ride and spacious! after 8000 km I am at 6.5 Liter/100km. Sports Mode helps to reduce consumption if you drive it smartly, reason is the ever functioning engine brake. In our family we are on our fifth Honda, (including the lawn mower the sixth... ). very reliable products.

Lovely SUV, although I'm not an SUV guy, Honda do a banging job In that segment. Reliable, well made, comfortable, luxurious interior, decent acceleration and handling. Go Honda! 10/10

Good video. Just one point, the CRV Hybrid does not have a CVT transmission, most of the time the power from the wheels is provided directly only by the electric engine. Only at about 120 km / s is the gasoline engine engaged to help drive the wheels via a clutch. The rest of the time the gasoline engine works as an electic power generator.

Great review! I have the hybrid. I am really pleased with it. I really like the use of technology to make me safer, like lane assist and adaptive cruise control. On the regenerative breaking, I have come to view it like changing down with a manual gearbox. So much so, in city driving and in anticipating needing to stop, ramping up the regeneration means I don't brake until just a few metres from the car in front. I was puzzled as to why the battery is so small. Now I realise the battery is like a buffer rather than a power source. It depletes and charges quickly. The battery goes from 50% to 100% charge in a minute of downhill driving using the regenerative braking to control my speed. My car is one of the lower spec cars. What I like about what Honda chose to do is put the safety technology in all models. More expensive models are nicer (leather, memory seats etc), but no safer. Kudos Honda.

The car is a HYBRID! It has a 2 and a half kw battery. It is not mild hybrid. Mild hybrids mostly have a 48 Volt battery and deliver the electrical power trough the alternator. (~22hp)

HONDU CR-IN HYBRID 2021 I bought two complaints to the car I have. The first problem is with an outdated infotainmet that is slow in response, further supports the CARPLAY connection and the second problem occurs when a person who measures around 160 cm is sitting on the rear seats and the seat belt is attached to the safety belt. This belt cuts neck.Pročná did not do on the rear seats what allows passengers on the front seats to adjust the height of the attachment. I apologize for English, perhaps it will be understandable. Furthermore, I do not know why the car is the key and the wheeled wheels in equipment when I do not haze a wheel in the trunk, but the bike sticky set. At the same time, it is necessary to download new map data, manufacturer is obsolete - not updated. Otherwise, comfortable ride and consumption-driving characteristics at a high level.
